Is there a verification process for books signed 20 years ago?

I have a few Jim Lee books my wife got me for our 1st wedding anniversary  I'd like to grade.

Good morning,

Thanks for your message.  Unfortunately, no.  The only way for a book to receive our signature series label would be for the signature to be witnessed by an authorized CGC witness at the time of the signing.  We can also sometimes accept submissions directly from the artist with the appropriate paperwork.  But anything that was not witnessed and did not come from the artist at the time of the signing would receive our green Qualified Label and it would notate "name on cover in marker" or something similar to that to denote there is writing on the cover but we can't verify who actually signed it.
