Okay, so you are telling me that, for example, when I'm buying a CGC of a 90's issue, maybe it would be more convenient (from an "investor" point of view) to buy the newsstand version, right ? Because it will be more valuable on the market, right ?

We have no clue of the future, interest in newstands could turn out to be lower and thus you spent more for a book you could have bought for less by going standard. Also remember, most 90s era books are not on the market, they are in collections or attics or in warehouses gathering dust.  We do not know how many newstands are out there and how many will be on the market when you choose to sell your book. All we know is that now is the time to sell, and that's it. From an investor standpoint, I would honestly stay away from all of this and buy a book that is actually rare and has shown consistent growth. Big chances of being burnt from "investing" at the moment. You are better off trying to flip in the short term, that's how dealers today are making money. None of them are thinking long term.
