I went to do a search and couldn't find anything, then noticed the last record was late in August 2005...

Yes, and just scroll to the last page (16?) on the bottom and see for yourself.

Go to the bottom and show from all dates and there are 605 pages!

For instance, I typed in CGC in the subject field and placed "skybolt" in the user name option. Then I went to the bottom and clicked on 1 year. It gave me 180 listings that I had tos croll through using the next page option. Some posts were from lasy year.
