You were clear, I was just teasing you is all.  Several points:

1) did you look at the link I posted in my original comment as that is the section of the boards for "want to buy" posts.  You can also check the "for sale" section of the boards to see if anyone out there has currently listed the book you're searching for.

2) Probably best to not advertise as "can you spare" or "i am poor".  While the board has certainly shown itself to be charitable at times, i'm not sure how much of that charity extends to four figure books.  You can find books discounted compared to some auction sites as there are no overhead fees to worry about, but I wouldn't expect many board members to heavily discount a book simply because of your financial background.  Why sell discounted to you, when they can get a full mark-up somewhere else.  Speaking of financial background, the board can be cautious with new members or people with a track record of an inability to pay.  Painting yourself as someone in financial distress isn't going to instill confidence in a seller that you will be able to pay in full or on time.  There's an entire section of the boards (Probation List and Hall of Shame) devoted to people who screwed up a transaction for a variety of reasons.

I am a looking for a complete low grade X-Men 1. As i am currently well relatively poor is there anyone out there that can spare an X-Men 1 1.0 for purchase...Sincerely luv X-Men forever!. Yes i am aware of the cost of one even at a low grade. If I'm in the wrong board please forgive. Thanks!

I'm sure there are plenty of people who would want to just give away a key marvel book because you're poor......
