If you feel my price is too high, remember, I am ALWAYS willing to negotiate.

Oh why not, :takeit:

OK. I believe that I am caught up on all the purchases and packaging.

I am going to have to do some thinking before I make any more sales. I have made it clear that I want to whittle down the size of my collection. However, in my fervor to accomplish that, I have been selling books at prices FAR below FMV. I just can't continue selling books for less than 40¢ an issue. Let me make myself clear - I have no one to blame but myself. Many people have gotten some REALLY good deals because of my lack of patience.

I am going to have to be more diligent about determining FMV, and, more importantly, I am not going to be offering discounts every 2 - 3 days. Yes, I want to sell a lot of comics, but I have to stop giving them away. When I am selling a lot of 25 comics and netting only $6 in profit, that's just plain stupid. Again, I have no one to blame but myself.

I do know that I will not be selling any more issues through Ebay. I am tired of paying 15% - 20% of my profits in fees. Lately, I have been contemplating selling my lots through MyComicShop. I am seeing lots of 10 - 13 comics selling for $40+. Yes, MyComicShop charges a 25% commission rate, but I can mail them a large box of comics, and they will take care of taking pictures, listing, posting, selling, and shipping for me. A worker at MyComicShop told me that Spider-Man comics always do well at auction, but Fantastic Four and Daredevil, not so much.

This selling off process is going to be an all-summer project. Even though school will end at the end of this week, I have a summer job too.

So, before the end of the year, I plan on selling the following issues:

Amazing Spider-Man #401 - #700.5
Fantastic Four #301 - #645 (I'm not sure about the numbering)
Daredevil #226 - #536 (I'm not sure about the numbering)
Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man #103 - #263
Justice League of America (2006 series) #0 - #60

I'm sure that some of you are thinking, "What a whiner." I apologize if I have came off that way. But in case you haven't noticed, I seem to do a lot of thinking out loud when I post here. That was the main purpose of this post.

As always, thank you for looking at my thread. And you know how to contact me if need be.
