It would help if you took book out of bag and took pics of entire front and back covers and the spine..the more pics the better :foryou:

+1

Grading it depends on what you plan to do with after. Certification will help maximize the sale price. If it's a keeper, depends on whether you want to ever read it again or if you enjoy the aesthetics of a slab.

I do see a spine tick, so this won't be a 9.8. Also, because you asked, if you don't need the money keep it as is ungraded. I'm basing that on personal experience. Been collecting for for over 40 years and have sold many books along the way that would be worth $1000.00's today. That includes a 9.8 raw Captain America 100 and X-Men Giant Size 1 and 2 Hulk 181's (yeah I kept the best one). You will hate yourself for selling this when you see what it's going to be worth in 20 years. The catch is, you have to look after it.2c

My regret is having bought it at publication then later dumping it with a few long boxes of 90s drek.  Kept NM 87, 100 & 5 polybag copies of X-Force 1 though.tenor.gif.276dac06482a77b601a9ffc617eb3c86.gif

If your primary concern is selling it, even though it's probably not a 9.8 it's in nice enough shape that slabbing it should increase sales value significantly more than the cost to grade it. If you can't wait 3 months or more to sell it, you will still get a decent price for that book raw, probably in the $250-300 range based on recent ebay sales.
