Heritage Auctions May 10th -12th

Catalog was of interest to keep at the time as it featured a lenticular cover of Action 1 and a lenticular back cover for the artwork to ASM 61

Set of three:

  • Platinum session with lenticular covers
  • Artwork session
  • Comics and memorabilia session

One seller has the Lenticular cover catalog for sale at $95 on eBay.  No, that is not mine.

It cannot be worth that.  I am priced at a little higher than other realized sales per book.  One generic one went for $1 and another went for $15

Take all three for $35 ?  Don't like that... make an offer.   SOLD

The Lego Builder's Guide: 2nd Edition

Back when I was a kid, the great thing about Legos was that you had to use your imagination.

Later, it went to all the kit carp, with instructions, and specialized pieces. :p

Oh no... some of these guides teach you to expand your imagination like demonstrating the techniques to build spheres out of bricks.   A lot of the books that are published these days are basically mini engineering guides and in the realm of technic, explaining how gear reduction and certain designs can create sturdier frames to build larger models off of.

I used to think the same until I realized I was getting a crash course in engineering.   For example, I have a book like this that I am keeping because every now and then I have to go to it for reference.
