With the creasing, edge stress, corner wear/creasing, top right corner (?), sticker, loss of cover reflectivity, but no major issues such as spine splits, pieces missing, rusted staples (?).

Depending on weather there are or are not other defects the book could be higher or lower...

With only the one pic I cannot go higher, IMO this book is a VG+ 4.5.

An above-average but well used comic book. An accumulation of bindery/printing defects is allowed. Minor to moderate cover wear apparent, with minor to moderate creases and/or dimples. Inks have moderate to low reflectivity. Blunted corners are increasingly common, as is minor to moderate staining, discoloration, and/or foxing. Stamped or inked arrival dates may be present. A minor to moderate spine roll is allowed. A spine split of up to 1/2" may be present. Staples may show minor discoloration. Minor interior tears may also be present.

As much as a 1/4" triangle can be missing out of the corner or edge; a missing 1/8" square is also acceptable. Cheers Bayowolf - yeah I'm just asking for opinions based on whats visible.  It could turn up and be water soaked - or the centre pages could be missing etc etc.  Hope not.

Cool :)  OK you didn't bid on it - is it ropier than it looks in the pic..?

Can you remember if there was still a bit of shine to the cover..?  I noticed it too late on to get a condition report.  Afterwards they told me its G+ but that seems very low.

I remember thinking it was a decent enough copy. I recognised it by the sticker. Being honest, as I wasn’t looking to bid on it I didn’t pay a great deal of attention. 
knoeing what you paid, plus the buyers tax it’s probably about right. I wouldn’t say you got a bargain but I don’t think you overpaid also.

Cheers indeedy.  Looking at sold prices I hope to make a bit on it once label removed and cleaned and pressed.

Please be aware that comics that come from the UK of that age have, well been about a bit, and the interior may be of lower page quality than a comic from the US with regard to humidity etc. You have many more copies of the same comic to choose from in the US too! Good luck, I hope it's a good 'un when it arrives.

Cheers yeah fair point.  That said I got my ASM6 from here and its amazing.  This 50 I think may have discoloured staples so humidity a definite possibility.
