This is a group of reprint books , the entire series. I wanted to fill in the set I had and wound up with 2 full sets.

I'm selling these as a complete set. All the books have nice pages and some really great stories that would cost a fortune to buy now.

 

The books reprint Golden Age stories starring Captain America, Sub-mariner, Miss America,(Timely) etc and each one has a precode horror story (or more than 1)

 

A great way to read some expensive old comics on actual comic book paper;) None of these books have been pressed.

 

Shipping in the US is included in the price (Boxed Priority) out of the U.S., it depends on where you are, but would probably be another $15-$25 to ship it first class to Canada (box will weigh more than 3 lbs).

I accept Paypal, Checks, Money Orders and if I can figure out how, Zelle Pay.

I accept returns for any reason as long as you notify me within 3 days of shipment and you return them shipped and packed the way I sent them within 7 days of receipt..
Return shipping costs would be the buyer's, unless I made a grave error.

These books are smoke free and have not been pressed or cleaned.

Payment is due within 7 days unless we have made prior arrangements.

Fantasy Masterpieces #1-11 (Complete set) Published from 1966- 1967 by Marvel.

#1. There is a very cool picture of Stan on the inside cover with a list of the stories and the issues they are from, see below.

Lower staple is detached, top staple is barely hanging on, there is a tear at the front.

#2. If you have been trying to buy Strange Tales 89 with the original story starring Fin Fang Foom, you will find it's gotten a tad expensive.

The story is reprinted in this issue.

2^nd Story is Those Who Lurk Below from TOS #12

3rd  is Orogo From JIM #57.

There is a reading crease, a few tiny holes at the spine. Grade is 5.0 or maybe a tiny bit better.

 

#3.Captain America #3, “The Hunchback of Hollywood” with a character named “Barloff”;) “I am the Prisoner of the Voodoo King” from JIM 82

“Beware the Uboongi” from ST 100

“Bruttu” from TOS #22

“I Saw the End of the World” from ST 73

and another gem from the very expensive Cap #3, “The Weird Case of the Plundering Butterfly and the Ancient Mummies”

The book has some mild ripples, I don't think there was moisture damage, sometimes you see these on squarebounds. I'll grade is as 4.5/5.0 to be safe, but it looks better.

Captain America #4, “The Menace of Dr. Grimm”, Meet Dr Grimm, who should be named IGOR, but don't worry, he's got a Frankenstein type Monster!

Also from issue 4, “ The Case of the Money Fiends “(Counterfiters)

“The Thing Called IT” and “It Lives!”, from ST 82.

“They Vanished Forever” from ST 98

“I am the Beast Man” from Astonish #12

and last but not least another gem from Cap 4, “Ivan the Terrible”.

Average wear with a 1” corner off upper left. . The book is 2.0 or a little better.

The Evil Ringmaster, an enemy ship disguised as a sea monster and Nazis! Plus horror!

The book is a decent looking copy with a hard corner crease upper right and some creases near the spine in the back (again, typical on some of these Giants) . Grade is VG+ (4.5) or a little better.

The book has some mild ripples at the spine in the front, seems to be pretty common in Giant, I don't see moisture damage. Corner Crease upper right, There are bigger creases and some dirt on the back near the spine. Grade is VG (4.0) or a little better.

There is a 2” spine split at the top and a 1” tear going right. Grade is at least Good.

There are some ripples near the spine (mild ones that seem to be common on some squarebounds) some creasing. Grade is VG/F (5.0) or slightly better.

Most of the book is taken up with All Winners #19, with separate chapters for Cap, Subbie, Whizzer, Miss America .

TTA #54 “There Were Five Frightened Men” completes the comic.

This issue is in Fine (6.0) condition, I'd grade it a little higher, but there is some dirt and a bend on the back (near the spine).

 

#11. The Human Torch #2 (Really #1 )“The Origin of Toro”

Sub-mariner from Issue #34

The Black Knight #1 “The Menace of Modred the Evil”

ST #99, “Mister Mogan's Monster”

and Last but not least “ Hotel of Death” from Cap #10.

There is a small tear on the back cover (about 1/2”) Grade is 4.0 (VG) or better, the front certainly looks better.

 They are great books, I enjoyed reading them. I had the idea of getting back what I paid for them, but I'd like not to put them back in the closet.

I know...I bought my husband a tablet for his birthday, so he could download books from the cloud library, since the one we used to use for Kindle is not going to be available.
