Hi, Thank you for any help with a grade. Picked this up a couple weeks ago. I want know what others think about the possible grade. Hoping I did well :) . The back does seem a bit darker in person compared to scans. I would say the pages inside are off white to white.

Thanks!

Interesting, that crease doesn't bring it down that far for me.  Still a solid 5.5 in my eyes, maybe even 6.0.  Back cover looks really nice.

See the 2nd one by the code authority box? This book has been pressed well to conceal them.  Some pictures of the back cover will show it better.

Yup, I saw it but still not sure I see it getting all the way down to the 4.5 range, that seems awfully harsh. @Ryals you're gonna have to submit this one and update us in 9 months when you get it back so we can settle this!

4.5, everyone on this thread has missed the crease running from top mid to right edge.  That crease firmly locks this grade in the 4s.

You may be correct, but, I think everyone noticed the creases as they are quite evident. Even with the creases, 4.5 seems harsh. The book appears very much to be in the "fine" minus range as opposed to the "good" plus range imho. :foryou: Just some examples from a quick search on ebay...the grade is likely somewhere in between at around 5.5? (shrug) enjoying the debate

As I was reviewing this, I was at a 6.5 before I saw that crease.  There’s the spine hits, and lower right corner that is in addition to the long crease and the shorter one above it.  If it were just the long crease, sure, I can go higher.  I don’t believe that is the case here.  I’m at 4.5 on this one.

This is not the time for reason. We’re trying to read the mind of 3 different cgc graders that would likely grade this book 3 different grades on 3 different days 😂
