MYSTIC #18 in 4.5: Classic anti-communist/horror cover by Bill Everett. I've been a fan of this issue for 20+ years and it has only gotten harder to find; no more than one or two public sales per year. Beautiful glossy cover with fire-engine reds; looks midgrade, but half-inch spine splits top and bottom; discreet 1" tear on the bottom of the back cover; soft bend to the lower right corner including some pages. So nice for the conservative grade... well attached at staples, tight spine with bang-on centering. Complete with white/offwhite pages.

EERIE #1 in CGC 1.0 Slightly Brittle. Fantastic GGA/creature cover! Label notes: 'Spine of cover completely split and reattached with tape; cover detached.' Super eye appeal for the grade...thought it was a 1.5 C/OW, but ah well. Tough first ish of this Avon horror title, harder to find than most in the run. See spoilers for raw scans of the book, more accurate for color.

SILVER STREAK #23 in 2.5/3.0. Sweet GGA/bondage cover, last issue in the run. Fresh book with vibrant colors and gloss; areas of surface ink loss on both covers; faint drink ring visible in the 'TR' of the logo; 2.5" tear on one interior page. White/OW pages.

STRANGE MYSTERIES #8 in 4.5. Bizarre devil/torture chamber/GGA cover. Nice copy looks 5.5/6.0 from the front with strong colors, good gloss. Crazy stories, even for Superior! Cream/offwhite pages, all attached. GPA shows 5.0 $499 May 2019, 7.5 $1147 Oct 2020.

MY GREATEST ADVENTURE #80 in 4.0. 1st appearance Doom Patrol! SA key presents well with nice colors and gloss. Some corner creases and rumples; bottom staple looks like it's starting to pull through but still attached. Offwhite pages.

DETECTIVE COMICS #359 CGC 4.5 Universal, OW/White Pages. 1st Barbara Gordon/Batgirl! My fave Silver Age DC. Glossy copy with rich colors, clean image area. Red-hot book that is going through the roof on GPA. Last sales of a 4.5 were $1250 and $1255, and there's one on ebay bid up to $995 with three days still to go. Raw scans of the book, more accurate for color, are in spoilers--it's a beaut.

AMERICA'S BEST COMICS #25 in 4.0. Classic & hard-to-find Miss Masque GGA cover with beautiful colors. White/OW pages, staples a bit pulled but well attached. Heritage sold a CGC 5.0 last month for $2040 (!!); a CGC 5.5 with a big Bonnett's stamp across the lady sold for $574.   Hard to price but it's a tough book I'm OK to keep.
