ty_guy22
I have a really nice copy of Adventures Into Fear #11 but with the sharpie of previous owners initials all on the back cover I am not sure how much this hurts the grade. I have a similar situation for my X-Men #99. Any suggestions of if its possible for me to improve the grading on these at all despite the sharpie? Galen130
I'm stumped. If all else fails, call @joeypost ty_guy22
joeypost
Not much can be done at this point without a good chemical bath (even then no guarantees it will significantly improve). Based on previous submissions, CGC will hammer these books significantly. Especially since it looks like earlier attempts to clean it up just smeared it around. Its a shame really. But my advice is just sell these as is and buy nicer copies. Galen130, grendelbo, ty_guy22 and 1 other
ty_guy22
Thanks y'all for all the replies. I figured they are both kinda dunzo, luckily I didn't pay much at all for either of them, so I may just keep them as reading copies. But for real, thanks so much for the feedback :D
