The light is hitting the spine making it hard to see. There is one, very light, non color breaking bend on the spine. Im hoping a press helps that. When I see dings in the same spot on different pictures, I know there is a flaw there. They do not have to break color to pull down from 9.6/9.8. I’ve worked on spots like this a lot, and you aren’t getting them out. On these modern books, you can’t work the dings much without rubbing the color.
