I'm having trouble figuring out how much to subtract for the flaws on the back and writing dent on the front with this prestige format. I'm also curious if people think a press will help at all, and if so how much.

maybe a 6.0ish copy with the creases and other defects...I'm not confident they'll all press out... let's bring in the expert @joeypost for some guidance on these card stock wraps

This book needs some special attention due to the thick card stock, but most of the issues should come out or look significantly better.

I’d be at 7.5 as is.  Press could remove all of the writing on the front, but the one on the back will not come out imo.  Cardstock will hold the shape moreso than other paper.

I'm at 7.5 as well. Would the cover need to be pressed by itself? Opening each one and pressing it by itself?

If the flaws will press out (expert-like) then I can see an 8.0 after. I have a feeling they'd still be some faint impressions, especially on the back cover.

I agree…8.5 is possible as well.

I'm at a 7.0, if the creases press out I could see it getting to an 8.0

I'm still learning the jargon of flaws but I'm not sure any of these flaws can be called creases. They are indentations made in the thick card stock cover, like from someone pressing a stylus into it and moving it around. The inside of the back cover is completely flawless (as far as I can tell). If that's what you meant by "creases" then my bad on the semantic digression, I just want to make sure everyone is on the same page since it can be tough to see what's going on from the photos and my crappy video.
