Mr Vapors
Was wondering if I could get some opinions on the comics as far as the grade goes. Just wondering how much impact the cutout on the back cover makes. Edited December 14, 2021 by Mr Vapors Galen130
comicginger1789
Touch one. Could be deemed incomplete with that much of a piece missing. So a 0.5 would not surprise me. Now since it is the back, I think you could get away with a 1.8 here and it would be one of the nicest presenting 1.8's around. grendelbo
grendelbo
The missing piece out of the back cover isn't big enough IMO to warrant an 0.5. Likely 1.8-2.0. Thanks for sharing.

Randall Ries
You know, if I could time travel, I wouldn't go back in time to stop Hitler or John Wilkes Booth. I wouldn't go to see the Declaration of Independence signed or prevent The Archies from recording. No. I would go back in time and prevent all these kids from cutting out those little forms so they could get x-ray specs. Plus save them from being disappointed when they showed up and found they didn't work at all. Tough Noogies, kiddies. It's gonna take a LOT more than x-ray specs to see the goodies. Prepare for a LOT of disappointment as well.

If CGC remains consistent with past practice, the book should receive a Universal Grade of 1.0 FR. with a notation of "Coupon missing from back cover" (and possibly a second notation of being "INCOMPLETE"). This being said, there are examples of higher grades being awarded to certain pedigreed copies and Golden Age mega-keys. One justice for the plebs (plebians), and a much less harsh justice for the elites. KCOComics, Mars76 and grendelbo 2

Someone did there homework 😁 I'm going with 1.0 too.

One of my favorite covers and this one presents really well.
