Very much disagree on the Casino scene.  I liked that a lot and would liked to have seen more of D.J. and was disappointed not to see him in Rise of Skywalker. 

Colin Trevorrow's "Rise of Skywalker" would have been far better than JJ's 

You should read it as it was eventually verified to be the real thing.  It was called Duel of the Fates if I remember correctly. 

Even if you think that Last Jedi was the worst, you will see what could have been and why JJ was a hack when it came to Star Wars.

Rebel dude walks in with DJ in cuffs.  "We found this guy in the main computer room.  He had this"  hands her some hacking device.

There was a long scene in T2 where Cameron had to explain how a terminator starts becoming more human and saying hasta la vista baby and stuff.  the scene showed them opening his scalp, unscrewing a plate and pulling out his main chip.  The terminator explained to set it from read only to write.   it was about a 5-7 min scene.  Cameron decided it was too much screen time.  He replaced it with a quick conversation between john and the terminator where john asks if he can stop being a dork.  Terminator says the more contact I have with humans, the more I learn.
This is how it is done folks.

but imagine buzz-if the scene was enjoyable and also a necessary scene that advanced the plot-that would always be much better.  Or imagine the enjoyable scene that wasnt done to include this scene.
