He ruined Star Trek & then he moved on to ruin Star wars!!!!! :pullhair:

I care as much someone likes any movie as far as I care about what type of tacos they like. 

I don't mean that in a bad way personally to you.  It just doesn't matter if you don't "like" something in a way that diminishes or adds to my enjoyment of something.  

I have seen a lot of nerds bash Star Wars for being unrealistic or plot holes, or a misdirection of the narrative or anything else that they feel should be or should have happened or should not have happened. 

Meanwhile, they argue those points while forgetting that if one imperial gunner shot the escape pods like they were supposed to instead of preserving energy on a Star Destroyer, the whole franchise would have been resolved within fifteen minutes back in 1977.

It's Star Wars... it's a movie.  Either people like it or they don't.  However, the rage?  I've never understood. 

I enjoy it. 


It's fun.

It's fun. 

But the first 3 were so good and all the rest never even came close.  This bothers us.

I think Revenge of the Sith was better than Return of the Jedi actually. 

I think Rogue One is actually better than Return of the Jedi.

Now that does not mean that I did not like Return of the Jedi.  I thought that it was an amazing movie and holds up well from Jabba's court to the epic space and forrest battle at Endor.  I do think that Sith and Rogue One were actually very well done.

Rogue one yes-and I really do hate the cute ewoks-so I could get on board with that.  Revenge of the Sith nope.  The whole plot thread of Anakin turnin evil cause his mom died when he just forgot about her for 10 years and was friends with a princess who could have easily bought her freedom just made everything after that dumb.  The reason he turns evil is because he forgot about his mom!  Nope.

I could write a more convincing scene abt why he turned evil in 30 seconds!!  This was the best Lucas could comee up with after mulling it over for decades???
