To be fair, the furnace is still holding out, which is pretty necessary in Chicago in February.  But its 16 years old and wants me to pony up a grand to fix it.  Might as well do it right the first time.

And I should've bequeathed this year's tax debt to my ex-wife in the divorce.  Next time.  Hey, wait a minute...no, let's not do that again.

Necessities first:

Payment:  In addition to PayPal, I will also accept check / money order / Zelle, though the book will be held until clearance.  Payment generally due within 10 business days.  However, time payments are an option on purchases $750+.  PM me in advance to discuss though.

Shipping (domestic):  Book(s) will be shipped via insured USPS priority mail.  Domestic shipping is included in the listed price.

International Shipping - exact cost, minus the US shipping cost.  Please inquire first for an accurate quote.

Returns:  No returns on CGC books as you know what you're getting.  For raws, if we wildly disagree on the grade or you spot a flaw that I failed to disclose, we'll use up to the 10 days that follow from receipt of the book to have a dialogue on the matter in order to find a mutually acceptable compromise, including a return.

On the HoS?  Probation list?  Or I simply don't like you (aka on my ignore list)?  Don't bother.

Can provide board references if needed (no name dropping here), and over 1700 positive eBay feedback as well -- https://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=792mn.  And I've got a fledgling kudos thread started (link is in my profile page).

First :takeit:posted in the thread wins a book outright (so don't PM it to me, a thread take it wins out regardless of time stamp), well reasoned offers always considered.

Iron Man and Sub-Mariner 1, 9.0(R) with small amount of slight amateur color touch on the cover.  I wish I could tell you where it was, but I'm admittedly a novice when it comes to spotting restoration.

I've been there.  At some point, you just have to bite the bullet, sell me your high grade Silver Age books, and replace the furnace.  Also the water heater.

I did this 4-ish years ago (replacing a 25-year-old furnace) and now the furnace guy is trying to talk me into a "more efficient" one.  I ain't that clueless.

Oh, I hear you, they speak to me sometimes.  "We can pay off those loans you retained to get the ex out of your life, trust us, it'll be better...."  Then I realize it's those pesky MCP readers that are taking up space trying to screw with me.  The real prime stuff has convinced me that its part of a well-balanced long term investment portfolio.  Or maybe it was a well-balanced breakfast?  Either way, we're in it for the longer haul.

Maybe these next two will call your name though...  hm

I wasn't planning to go to the Stan Lee well one more time, but I'll go to the Stan Lee well one more time since I also own X-Men 35.

X-Men 83 (reprints 35), first Spider-Man / X-Men crossover.  SS 8.0 with cow pages, signed by Stan on 8/23/2014.

The furnace guy?  I'll have to ask him.  The good news is I moved all my books into the same room as the utility closet, so I can bring it up without it being as weird.

Let me know if it is never not-weird. :D

It's always weird when you lead with "So, what are you into?"

Seriously.  These days, everyone seems to have some geek something or other though.

The normalizing of abnormal.

Speaking of geeks....,
