Here's the link. Was looking for a cgc 4 of this book for a long time and managed to negotiate a reasonable price within FMV, but having concerns because of the price of the book. Is there any red flags here that i'm not seeing?

He seems like he's done alot of business on ebay. The price is pretty high for that book. 

If you have concerns,  make sure you have third party protection... purchase through eBay or PP Goods and Services.

Unless you negotiated a price that was about 50% off his asking price, you certainly aren't getting a very good deal. I don't see any indications of the seller being dishonest, but his price is out of line.

He probably just used his card template. If not, and he actually is charging $8000 for this card, he's a person_who_is_obnoxiously_self-impressed.

It took me about 5 minutes to find a 3.5 that I would rather have than the cream paged copy that you're asking about.

Even a 4.0 with a bit of writing by a child on it was listed at $2,000 less, and was much more attractive to me.

The back cover of the one you're looking at has some terrible tanning apparently.

We negotiated a price in the low $5000s. Seems all the other sellers that listed a 4.0 aren't willing to negotiate at all. I am concerned about the tanning too but figured it was better than a 3.5 OW.
