GREEN HORNET #18 CGC 4.0 UNIVERSAL, WHITE PAGES. Classic Alex Schomburg anti-Japanese WWII bondage cover! (Whew!) It guts me a bit to offer this up. Book presents beautifully, looks more like a mid-to-high-grade with rich inks & virtually no color loss, but cover is detached at the single staple. Last sale in grade was $1320; this copy has white pages and presents better than grade. Asking $1475 $1350 plus Priority ship/insure in US. Thanks all! --Jon

FIGHT COMICS #40 in Qualified 6.5/7.0. Classic WWII GGA bondage cover. Amazingly nice rich glossy cover has the eye appeal of a 9.0 copy (!), but interior problems: the top right corners of the front half of the book are torn or missing (see interior pics), and two torn corners are repaired with tiny pieces of tape. *I also suspect the top edge was lightly trimmed to minimize the frayed look of the page edges.* Some discreet fraying/nibbling of FC edges as seen in scan. Supple OW/white pages. Based on its eye appeal alone, IMO this would likely be a $1500-$2K book if not for all the hidden issues.

RANGERS COMICS #15 in 2.0/2.5. Fun early Rangers with a WWII bondage cover & chock full of interior GGA. Each splash page has the artist's name written neatly in pencil. Cover is detached at the single staple, with a spine piece out there and a corner piece out on the back. (This was purchased from James Payette as part of the Steele collection; comes with certificate. James' grade was Good- but IMO most would call this 2.0/2.5.) OW pages.

JUNGLE COMICS #99 in 6.0/6.5. Strong copy of this disturbing bondage/torture cover that's been seeing some heat lately. Nicer copy than average, with crisp edges and minimal wear; inside covers have a bit of tanning halo, but cream/OW pages, no brittleness. Name and date written at bottom of first page. (This was purchased from James Payette as part of the Steele collection; comes with certificate. James' grade was Fine- but IMO most would call this 6.5 if not higher.) Tough book in grade.

JOURNEY INTO FEAR #16 in 4.5. Tougher Superior PCH with a great skeleton mailman cover, one of the standouts of the run. Pretty deep purple cover. Nice solid book with good colors, no major issues.

MISTER MYSTERY #11 in 1.8/2.0. Classic horror cover by Bernard Baily that continues to move up the charts. Interior story "kinda" by Basil Wolverton...his 'Robot Woman' story from Weird Mysteries #2 that the editor reworked to make a completely different story on the cheap (!). Glossy cover with rich inks; edge wear, chips and a 1.5" edge tear to the cover, but complete with solid eye appeal for the grade. Cover is frayed at both staple areas but holding. White/OW pages. A tough find even in low grade.

"Ant-Man prototype"

MATT BAKER LOT OF 2: WARTIME ROMANCES #13 in 2.5. "Look how fast Ginny hooked onto that kid!" Great Baker romance cover. Some degree of tanning to both sides of covers, but glossy with rich colors. Grade is docked for a missing piece on the back, else it presents as a 4.0 or so. Offwhite pages with no halo. THE TEXAN #11 in 2.5. Matt Baker cover, and surprisingly most of the interior stories are Baker-drawn. One of his better Texan covers; strong colors, attached at both staples though spine has about 30% cumulative splits.

SORORITY SECRETS #1 in 3.0. Uncommon romance comic with a great steamy cover. Glossy tight book looks higher VG, but two punctures through book in the lower left (discreet enough, but there), top staple cleanly pulled through, hint of moisture ripple through the green background.
