Axe Elf
I know that the "General Guidelines" say 1 book per thread, so I don't plan to do this in general, but I'm hoping that I will be allowed to make this one exception because the two books in question are so similar. The idea is that I will post two books in consecutive posts in this thread, A and B, and you can either tell me how you would grade each one, or if you want to make it easier, just tell me if A>B, A<B, or A=B, ok? The reason for doing these two books in one thread is that they are not only two of my best EERIEs, but both covers are based on the same work of art! That's why I'm hoping I can get away with this exception to the General Guidelines. So here we go, this is Book A: EERIE #
Axe Elf
And this is Book B: EERIE 121 EDIT: Just noticed my scanner picked up some weird interference pattern--those diagonal pink lines at the top of the back cover DO NOT appear in real life; here's a photo of the top of the back cover I took with my phone: Weird. Anyway, don't downgrade for that--it's not there. Edited February 20, 2022 by Axe Elf
Axe Elf
Well, I guess this wasn't such a great idea after all. Thought people would be all over it because it was a little unique, but... ::: crickets ::: So I should just post them individually?
Point Five
Nice mags! My takes, Book A: 8.0 Book B: 7.0 Eerie #121 has a bit more corner and back spine wear. Eerie #26 is a bit crisper overall. grendelbo

Thanks, I appreciate your time, and I also see Book A as slightly better than Book B.
grendelbo
The first book looks better. On 2/20/2022 at 8:01 PM, Point Five said: Nice mags! My takes, Book A: 8.0 Book B: 7.0 I can dig it. +1 Thanks for posting.

Now if I just correct for that sitewide undergrade prejudice, I'm at 8.5 and 7.5. ;) Nice!
