All prices are in USD.

Shipping cost with $1,000 insurance, signature required and tracking number to the USA with strong packaging is estimated around $85.00.

Paypal is fine for orders up to $1,000. For orders above that amount, checks or international money orders only.

Batman #23 CGC F/VF 7.0: $7,500 NOW $6,800 NOW $5,300

Classic Joker cover.

I don't know if this book was pressed or not.

Book looks better from the front cover but back cover has some light foxing. There are three light scratches on the upper left side of the case (visible on 3rd scan). The scuff marks around the logo are on the slab, not the book. Finally, the white spot on Joker's collar is not a flake nor an abrasion but rather a printing error.

I cracked this book in order to add to my collection but then realized that the book has probably been cleaned and pressed. I "upgraded" last year to a CGC 9.2 (but did not dare to crack it yet) but honestly, this 9.0 copy looks better and I would keep it for me if not for the cleaning/pressing fact. If, like me, you don't like pressing, this book is not for you. If you don't mind, then it is a gorgeous book for its technical grade.

Last GPA sale for a 9.0 was $2,850 in Oct. 2021

Weird Science #22 CGC 7.5: $725 SOLD

Last issue. Wood cover and Frazetta art.

I don't know if the book was pressed or not. Last GPA sale for a 7.5 was $625 in March 2021.

Captain America #110 CGC 9.2: $900 SOLD

To the best of my knowledge, this book was not pressed.

Graded in 2002. Tight grading on this one, looks better than many 9.4's that I have seen.

Tales of Suspense #49 VF+ : $1,500

Very undervalued issue and a tough one to find in high grade. Book was formerly a very early CGC 8.5 blue which I did crack to keep for my collection 20 years ago. I found a slightly better copy a year ago so this is now my undercopy.

Unfortunately, I was not keeping labels during those early years so there is no label included. I agree with the grade though; it looks better from the front cover but there is something on back cover near the lower staple. It looks like a faint stain at first glance but it doesn't go through the cover and after looking at it carefully it rather looks like some kind of abrasion.

I currently have a CGC 5.5 of this issue, and I would LOVE to upgrade. Unfortunately, I have to spend money on non-essential items like food and electricity. I'm there are more essential items I could list, but nothing else came to mind while I was typing this post.

Worth the price to get that art by Wrightson when he was so very young. ;-)
