This thread will have it all. If you want to buy something from me or trade with me, all options will be in this thread.

 

So here’s the deal.

 

This is the remainder of my comic collection. I have sold the majority of it and traded a good portion of it for TPBs, but I need to get rid of the rest. I need the space, and I need the money, and I don’t need this “collection” teasing me that I don’t collect anymore when I really, really want to.

 

To that end, I’ve listed everything here on a handy-dandy price chart in order to sell it to whoever wants to buy it. The list should be pretty easy to read and determine the various prices. I’ve got them at HALF off or MORE of their value as based on ComicsPriceGuide.com listings. If you would like a detailed condition report or a scan of ANY item, please feel free to PM me or email me (borateen@hotmail.com) with your request. Also, from now until...well, until they're all gone, I guess, all of the comics listed are HALF-OFF of the given prices. That'll make them 1/4 or less of the ComicsPriceGuide.com listing price!!!

 

You’ll notice that I’ve got a few freebies, and while they’re mostly FCBD or coverless comics, I’m still limiting them to one per order or one per every 10 comics ordered. I’ve also got percentages off depending on how much you buy. ANYTHING to help get rid of these.

 

Shipping is not included in the price. The cheapest way I know of to ship these in the U.S. is media mail. Delivery confirmation and insurance are required. I use them to protect me AND you. If your purchase is small enough to fit in a large envelope, then that’s what I’ll use, but rest assured that your comics will be securely packaged to withstand the manhandling it’ll go though in the U.S. postal system. Ditto for large orders that’ll be packaged in boxes.

 

If you’re not looking to buy at the moment but would instead like to trade, I'll consider trades on a case-by-case basis. Since money is tight right now, I'm pretty much only looking for hardcover collections. I might also consider some CDs or DVDs, but that's not set in stone. Just let me know what you're looking to get rid of and I'll let you know if we can work something out. For trading purposes, I will trade 2-to-1 in your favor, and the values of my half of the trade will be based on the comics' condition and ComicsPriceGuide.com listing, NOT the "For Sale" prices listed here.

Also, if anyone is looking for books featuring a specific writer, artist, inker, character (heroes, villains, and supporting ones), or crossover but aren't sure what you need, my database is set up where I can easily search for these. Easy-search categories include creators (writers, artists (pencilers, inkers, layouts, finishes, and covers), characters (heroes, villains, supporting characters), teams, and crossovers/storylines. Let me know who or what you're looking for, and I'll search my collection to see what I've got.

 

I’ve got a 99.3% feedback on eBay (member name is borateen0), and I’ve conducted many successful trades with members of various comic book message board communities (mostly Comic Book Resources and ComicCovers.net). You should be able to browse some feedback forums on these sites to find positive feedback about and from me.

Somebody asked about the History of the DC Universe TPB:

 

What is this TPB? What year did it come out?

 

Condition? Cost?

 

My reply is to everyone, in case anyone else had a similar question.

 

This is the TPB that came out in 2002 with the Alex Ross cover. It collects the 2-issue mini-series by Wolfman and Perez that came out shortly after Crisis on Infinite Earths. It's a first printing, and I'd put it at a VF. I'll tell you honestly that I'm not the best grader, especially with TPBs. It's got wear on the spine corners, and some rounding on the other corners that isn't too bad. There are no creases or bends, and the pages are perfect.

 

Personally, the wrap-around Ross cover is worth it by itself.

 

I've edited the post to include the price, which is $15.00. But remember, EVERYTHING I have is 50% off the listed price, plus various discounts for additional spending.

Okay folks, here's the deal. I've got 6 long boxes of comics left, and recent...developments...have now forced me to push even harder to get rid of them. Yup, it's time to turn the office into a baby's room. So while I'd still prefer TPBs and HCs when trading, I'm also going to be looking for single issues that might net me a few bucks on eBay (although I'm honestly not expecting much luck for that...on a trading-only site, sure, but we'll see).
