That was a surprisingly somewhat positive review.  "Surprising" because of the failure at the box office and I haven't heard much about this movie.  Still not going to see it in theatres but I'll give it a try once it hits TV.

Because it is not straightforward enough for general viewers. So unfortunately they are so use to that approach, something like would feel too complex.

A genie that comes out of a bottle to share his love interests throughout the centuries. They want Robin Williams. WHERE IS MY ROBIN WILLIAMS??!!

You think the trailer looks good?  I thought it looked terrible and figured this to be a "paycheck movie" for him at best or a studio/contract obligation. 

Just finished watching Beast and you were correct. It was terrible. Locations were great but the story and scenarios were just bad. So disappointed as I love movies like Jaws, Ghost and the Darkness, Orca, The Edge etc.
