Jcunha
Hey there, just getting back into collecting after a 20 year hiatus (my first post here). I've had this GL #89 since '97 and thinking of having it slabbed and graded. The book looks great but there are a few small issues. Paper extends out from cover on upper right corner (not sure what this is called). There is a crease on back lower left corner and a couple of spots on mid/ upper right side of back cover. There is also a pressure crease (or line) on the front cover just above the "save" that I can't pick up in a photo. Anyway, 2 questions: 1): Would there be any reason to press this issue? 2): What do you think the grade is? Thank you in advance--JC Edited May 29, 2022 by Jcunha Galen130 and grendelbo

grendelbo
We're not seeing the bottom corner of the spine - front or back cover - in any pics. Got them? Jcunha
Jcunha
A couple of shots of the lower spine and some other pics. Thanks so much for taking a look--JC Edited May 30, 2022 by Jcunha grendelbo
grendelbo
8.0 It's a great copy. Seems you gotta C&P before submitting nowadays. I see no reason for it not to get an 8.5/9.0 afterward. Thanks for sharing. Edited May 30, 2022 by grendelbo Jcunha
Jcunha
Appreciate the insight. I'll post this once C&P and grading is done...in 375 days or whenever that might be...Thanks!
Geoff2099
Agreed on 8.0/8.5. "extending past the line" probably you're referring to a slight miswrap, not an issue for grading at below a 9.9 (considered a manufacturing defect). As for if it's worth it, go collect says FMV of an 8.5 is $95 USD. (but prices fluxate all the time) Jcunha
