Omega, The Unknown #8.  With cover art by Gil Kane, this issue features the 1st brief appearance of the second Foolkiller, as well as the 2nd appearance of Nitro.

As you can see in the scans, especially the top spine corner area, there's ink and paper wear on the spine caused by moisture damage that left a stain.  The back cover is pretty filthy too, so I'm going to throw this comic in for.....

Our Fighting Forces #141 to #143.  These issues feature The Losers.

All three comic have holes punched through them near both spine corners.  The scans speak to the other defects present, but I didn't think it worth the time to list them.  I think these issues would top out at a 2.0.  You be the judge.

Our Fighting Forces #159, Mark Jewelers insert.  This issue has Jack Kirby pencil artwork.

This comic has your typical wear and tear, especially ink rubs all around the front cover, as well as a crease near the top spine half that very lightly breaks ink.  The back is filthy and the comic does have a spine roll that offsets the pages.  The Mark Jewelers insert looks immaculate.  I haven't seen one look this clean.

I haven't been able to find any sales info on a Mark Jewelers version, even on eBay. Maybe people didn't realize they had one.  So I'll just throw a price out there and entertain reasonable offers.

GD/VG, give or take; cream to off-white pages (except the insert).

$25 (or best offer)

The Phantom Stranger #28 (2nd series).  This issue also features The Spawn of Frankenstein.

There are plenty of defects here, but it is complete and readable.  Someone wrote 'Bad Boy' on the first page...it's upside down.  There is a third staple in the center of the comic...probably not original.  The staining on the back doesn't appear to go through to the inner wraps.

GD, probably no better; cream to off-white pages.

Here's another Atlas Comics/Seaboard Periodicals gem...sort of.

Planet of Vampires #2 (Atlas/Seaboard).  This comic features work done by Neal Adams and Giordano, as well as the first cover art for Pat Broderick.

Another defunct Atlas/Seaboard comic book that is complete and readable.  It's in rough shape, especially the front cover along the top edge and the spine.  There is a mild spine roll, or maybe just mis-alignment.  A clean and press would help a little.

GD/VG, give or take; off-white pages.

Sarge Snorkel #14, featuring Beetle Bailey.

This comic is intact and presentable.  I believe the yellow color on the front cover is somewhat faded compared to other copies I've seen.  The back cover has a mild dust shadow along the top edge.  There is a decent spine roll that a press may fix a bit.  There are a few spots of light soiling on both covers, as well as a few mild crease bends that don't appear to break the ink much...if at all.

VG, give or take; off-white to white pages.

The Scorpion #2 (Atlas/Seaboard).  This comic features work by Howard Chaykin, Bernie Wrightson, Walt Simonson, and others.

This is an intact and readable comic, but the scans tell the story.  Aside from general wear in spots on the front, there is a sizeable crease near the bottom right corner that very lightly breaks ink.  The back shows some soiling.  A clean and press will help, but may not improve the grade much.

GD/VG, or better; cream to off-white pages.

Star Wars #6, Whitman reprint.  This issue is Part 6 of the movie adaptation.

The biggest issues are the clipped bottom spine corner and the creased/clipped bottom right corner.  The bottom spine corner doesn't look like a production defect because the cut edges look a bit rough.  You be the judge.

GD+, give or take; cream to off-white pages.

Newsstand edition copy of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi #2 (limited series)

This comic suffers from quite a bit of moisture damage and staining, which affect interior pages to one degree or another.  The book is complete.  I didn't bother with a grade estimate, but I don't like throwing away perfectly readable comics.  So.....

Newsstand edition coy of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi #3 (limited series).

This issue suffers from the same type of moisture damage as issue #2.  The interior pages are affected as well, again from minor to major. The book is complete.

Again, I don't like throwing away comics. Perhaps this one will also go to a good home. Having said that...

Strange Tales #173.  This issue features the 5th appearance of Brother Voodoo, the last in Strange Tales.  It also features the 1st appearance of Black Talon. Marvel Value Stamp #45, Mantis, is intact.

My biggest concern with this comic is some sticky residue near the word ‘Tales’ that may have damaged the ink underneath.  I opted NOT to try and clean this off because I don’t know how to clean and press comics.  A post-it note covers the spot to keep it from sticking to the mylar bag.  I have no idea how this happened.  I believe it can be cleaned off (mostly) for a higher grade IF there's no ink loss.

FN-, or better; off-white to white pages.
