Original Charizard Grading
1 1

Hi all.

I'm brand new to this site and am here specifically looking to have some Pokemon cards looked at to see if I should spend the money to get them graded or not.

Right now I'm looking for help with this Charizard. This was bought for my wife when she was little along with all the other cards. The were bought from the store and immediately her dad put them into a plastic sleeve and then into a binder with plastic sheets to hold the cards. The card has been in there since they were originally bought in 95-96. The corners and edges are near perfect and this has barely even seen the light of day.

This is an original Charizard card and from my understanding is a first edition print.

Could use an expert opinion on this one.

What you have is an Unlimited Base Set Charizard. If you want to sell it, definitely get it graded. From the pics, it looks like it would probably get a 9, which is worth ~$800.

as a general note, one can google how to discern which set something is from.
