That would be bad and defacing comics.

I am trying to complete the incomplete ones I have not create more incomplete ones.

If you have some of the books I need that's great.

You'll note the list is in three segments alphabetically.

I already have parts of books from the first segment so am looking for coverless and incomplete books only unless the book is a #1,key, or expensive book (Marvel Mystery #10) Then I would buy an incomplete copy or a complete copy.

The second list is for a friend and he's listed what he has. nc=no cover and nc+1=nc+ 1st wrap. If you have any parts we'd love to buy them. If you can provide an entire copy we might buy it. If you can provide a color scan of what's missing we like that best.

The third list is for books that we have nothing of and want any parts of that we can get.

What does everyone hate right now...brittle comics. Guess what...in a hundred years most comics that are left today will also be brittle. Comics were never meant to be kept for a long period but read and discarded. We are trying to preserve the comic medium & culture forever. These copies that we are getting will survive hundreds of years after everyone else's turn to dust.

Any parts of books or whole books people can sell to us would help a lot.

Also if we could even just get scans of our missing pieces that would help.

I get it now. Pretty neat. It was confusing to me with all the Kid 1, Kid 2 stuff.

The Kid 1 & 2 stuff had two purposes.

1. To put a little fun into it.

2. To hide our identities so we didn't get deluged with tons of emails from people who think we should do this or that.

The project has been going on for 4 years and will continue for a few more yet.

 

I'll explain the list again.

You'll notice that it is broken up into three segments alphabetically.

The first is my personal want list. So for Adv into Unk 24 I already have one and am looking for parts. I am actually buying most coverless/incomplete books that would have had a guide value of $100 in Gd or more (unless the collection needs it)

I should mention I'm also looking for Red Raven #1 & All Amer 16 complete.

 

The second list are books that are in the collection, with notes depicting what is missing and needed. When we have all of the books we will still need the missing parts so people can read and reference the comics, otherwise it's a useless project.

 

The third is our wish list, and any parts or whole brittle books are welcome.

If you're just looking to read them, wouldn't it be cheaper to buy the Archive? I'd be stunned if you could pick up complete, coverless copies of those four books for cheaper than the Archive would cost you.
