Guys that marry books wouldn't leave the overhang - I think this is a binding production error.

 

It is weird though.

 

It looks weird in person too. I have decided to keep it. For all it's bizarre staple and cut issues, it's still a nice copy.

For the $17 (inc. shipping), even if I knew it was a married copy, I'd rather have your copy than a chipped up unrestored 3.0 at half guide. In that price range it's more about having a decent looking reading copy than an unrestored book IMHO.
