Is This Tomorrow (1947 - Catechetical Guild). No price on cover.1/2" closed tear on lower rear cover with dot of paper loss where it ends. 1/4" split at lower spine. Staples popped but everything attached. Calling this a 5.5.  $350  $300  $250

 

Stan Lee High School senior class yearbook (The Clintonian 1939). The typical HS yearbook having student sigs but overall nice condition. Stan is pictured with a nice biography. Foreshadows his comic career. Sold this on the boards but buyer later decided to stick to his comic focus so I am offering it again. This ephemeral piece is great for early Timely collectors or collectors of comic history in general. In just a few short months after this Stan would be working for his cousin Martin Goodman at Timely. The rest is history.  $600  $500  $400

 

Amazing World of DC Comics (DC 1970s). Complete run of the "pro" zine. Great articles and interviews from the DC bronze age looking back. All 17 issues included. Also includes the mini issue spotlighting the comic convention.  FN-VF overall  $400   $350   $250

I don't think so

But it's fascinating to see a 1939 yearbook featuring Stan Lee during his senior year of high school. The connection to the 1947 anti-communism publication, "Is This Tomorrow," adds an extra layer of historical context. Additionally, the complete run of "Amazing World of DC Comics" and the Shazam comics from the 1940s to the 1970s sound like an absolute treasure trove for any comic book enthusiast. I don't have such an opportunity to collect comic books in such an amount as it was before. But thanks to this source https://eduzaurus.com/all/ I'm getting help with my study tasks and working at the library where a lot of cool comics. It's great to witness such unique and valuable pieces of pop culture history being discussed and shared.
