• Gorgeous copy.  Has NOT been pressed.  Lots of improvable defects.  I figure it could go to a FN+ 6.5 with outside shot at FN/VF 7.0
• Classic Wally Wood Cover and story inside "Under Cover"
  • .Under Cover!, ---script by Albert B. Feldstein, art by Wally Wood; When Sam Masters sees a secret society whip a girl to death he tries to contact the F.B.I. before they can catch him.
• Strong red color retention.

Crime SuspenStories #22 (1954) EC Comics CGC 4.5 C/OW

• This copy has a unique facet to it.  I spoke with the previous owner and I have noted that they had this book signed by Bill Gaines at a convention many many many years ago.  First page of the book has the following "Boo! Bill Gaines"  
• Classic decapitation cover by Johnny Craig; one of the most infamous pre-Code horror covers ever produced. It was used in a US Senate investigation on juvenile delinquency as you already know 
• This book has NOT been pressed.  It has a large accumulation of improvable defects.

Recent Sales:

• 5.0 @ $6,527 June 2022
• 3.5 @ $5,000 September 2022

I noticed that too the other day, viewing this thread on my phone...the last digit of each price was lopped off and appeared a few lines further down.   Something about that table/grid format doesn't work on mobile.

This work week has buried me. I’m trying to get spun up for some more weekend listings. Will try to shift into raw comic sized magazines    Including a lot of Marvel.
