Agreed. Norem is my quintessential cover artist for SSOC with Ernie Chan getting the interior nod.

Not a fan of this Savage Tales artwork at all. It looks like rough sketching and the colors look muddy.

So why did Marvel choose this cheesy Romita cover when they did their Vampirella-lite horror omnibus?

Same thing with their Morbius omnibus.  They could have chosen this Bob Larkin cover, but instead went with a cheesy Gil Kane Spiderman cover:
