jgiampa
I am completing the submission form for comic grading. Is "Max Value Per Item" referring to the estimated value of the comic after it is graded, assuming it gets the grade that I am expecting? Or is that the replacement value of the ungraded comic? I paid $400 for my comic a few years ago, but suspect it will be worth $2500+ if it gets the grade I am expecting. Does that limit which level (Economy, Standard, Express) I must use? Thanks. KCOComics
Yes, it's the total value of the comic book. So, in your case, I would put $2500ish Basically it's for insurance purposes.
joeypost
In this case to be insured properly you would need to go at least express to cover loss or damage.
Gaard
It's been a while so I may be remembering wrong, but doesn't the cost of return shipping partially based on the value you put down?
Gaard
Thanks for the link. Doesn't seem to be as prominent as I remember. I used to use USPS RM for return shipping. Maybe the value played more of a part back then.
