I should been saving my money and buying silver age comic books and not playing video games, damn you Donkey Kong and Robotron, or buying multiple copies of the Vigilante! I still have some of my old mail order catalogues from the early 1980s....a decent JIM 83 was about $300...CAN....Like a insufficiently_thoughtful_person (yes, a teenage insufficiently_thoughtful_person...the dumbest of the species) I collected by going backwards down the list....to tell the truth though, then I used to pay for comics by mowing lawns and landscaping for neighbours...$300 was a lot to put out on one thing...and then everyone around me assumed I was wasting my money...few people then anticipated that one day Nerds would rule the world....and Nerd collectibles would mean hard currency....but yes, there was a time when you didn't have to choose between down payment on home and Marvel keys.... lizards2, Morganmi, Changer and 3 others 6 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
