Looks like an amateur artist that’s trying hard to copy John Romita Sr on the nurse and another artist altogether on the brunette.

Previous seller didn’t know artist too. Strip looks well rendered. Smooth lines. thanks in advance. Ted Williams came close, earning $90,000 in 1950 and 1951, but his salary declined thereafter. (from the internet) Which puts this right around 1950. I don't have any other insight on this piece, but I think that is my writing "Swann's" on the reverse which was a personal note while I was trying to figure it out before reselling it on ebay, IIRC. A few years ago. Don't remember where I got it, sadly, probably ebay wrong category pick-up. If anyone has access to ebay archives, I would have likely listed it as an unknown artist tryout strip under original comic strip art category, an authentic period piece. likely unpublished. Best wishes, David

Day Stripper
It has a Mort Meskin feel to it, from the days (early to mid 1950s) he worked at or with the Simon & Kirby studio.
