Al Avison "comin' right at ya" cover (another of my personal Top-10 Harvey war covers).  Bob Powell, Jack Sparling, and Manny Stallman story art.  Small piece out at top-right corner of back cover.  Light tan inside covers.

Duty calls, but I'll be back at 4:00 PM Pacific this afternoon/evening for a fast-paced, 60-minute session.  What's on tap?  About three dozen pre-code war books by various publishers (mostly Atlas, with a smattering of Ace, Ajax, Avon, Comic Media, Farrell, Fawcett, St. John, Standard, Stanley Morse (Stanmor), Youthful, and Ziff-Davis) in various grades, with prices ranging from $2 to $400 (but most under $20).  I hope y'all will be able to join me.  Until then!  :hi:

Those of you who were not collecting during the 20th Century may not realize that the Harvey pre-code horror titles (Black Cat Mystery, Chamber of Chills, Tomb of Terror, and Witches Tales) were once relatively inexpensive.  Then, collectors discovered that the stories and art were actually quite good.  Many of the same creators who worked on Harvey's pre-code horror titles also worked on their pre-code war titles (Fighting Fronts #1-5, True War Experiences #1-4, War Battles #1-9, and Warfront #1-25).  So get 'em on the cheap, while you still can!  :foryou:
