It was pencils down, but the idea is awesome." The producer behind the John Wick Universe, Iwanyk knows a thing or two about memorable performances in action movies, and a big part of his excitement for continuing the Sicario series is getting to see Del Toro reprise his chilling role. "I can't wait for Sicario 3," he says. "I could watch Benicio play that guy forever. I mean, I can watch Benicio in anything, but with that character, it doesn't get old." Taylor Sheridan, who was involved in the first Sicario film, is currently busy with the Yellowstone universe and may not have the time to direct or write for Sicario 3, but is involved as a partner as is Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning director Christopher McQuarrie.
