I suppose it's possible, but I seem to recall a few other mishaps involving ice cream, especially in the Disney and Teen Humor genres.

Maybe…Jerry Garcia was a comic book collector. His collection, heavy on EC, was auctioned off in lots by Bonham’s a few years back. I think they wound up in the hands of four collectors, so most copies haven’t got much further than that, but a few boardies have some of the ones that got sold by the few guys who won at auction. I finally hunted down one book; can’t post as it’s in a Voldy (they denote the Garcia collection).

Back this evening with a fine fat stack,  some Silver, PCH, Golden Age, and maybe a slab or two.
Oh, did I mention paperbacks?  Might toss a couple of those in too.

See you then!

Evening, Gang!

After a full day of running (got MOST of the chores done) I'm way behind this evening on the scanfest.
Here's something to tide you over for a half hour or so while I finish up.

Here's a paperback worthy of a @Surfing Alien thread, :D

A Hell of A Woman,  Jim Thompson
Pyramid F-739,stated first printing, June 1962.

Gorgeous every which way.  I'm going out on a limb and calling it a VF
Spine photo will follow, coming from my phone

Asking $40, FIRM  SOLD!

Back in action! But before we get started, a further note on the Thompson PB.
This is a reprint of a Lion Books paperback original from 1954. That's the TRUE first ed, and a decent copy will cost you a few hundred bucks.
This is the first PYRAMID printing.

On to fresh goodies!

Amazing Spider-Man 58

Nice enough G-VG, certainly not a rag, but nothing high end either.

Asking $15  SOLD!

Here's the first really high grade book of the thread, nicer than I usually deal with.

Alley Oop 15, December 1948

Flat,  tight, clean, glossy, white pages, and you have to look HARD to find anything but the teensiest fiddlin' little flaws.

Grab a gem for $200
