MARVEL SUPER-HEROES # 17 - VG/VG+ COPY - This copy has light tan pages, some mild staining, 1/2 tear on bottom of the 7th page from the back, some chips around cover, thumbing spot at top center of front cover above "super-heroes", and basic edge wear associated with the grade.  A press would help too as it doesn't lay entirely flat.  Still early Black Knight/Dane Whitman book with a classic cover from cover date Nov 1968. 

Chances are that I was being born when this was on the stands in Sept 1968.

ALL AVERAGE GLOSSY NM MINUS.  Spine tick here or there, but a nice set.  Issue 1 has a blunted lower spine corner.

Reprints the original X-MEN series 1 - 18 from 1963. 

There are 17 issues but the last issue is double-sized and contains issues 17 & 18.

Each cover represents a re-interpretation of the original by some of the hottest artists of the time

including ADAM HUGHES, LEE WEEKS, AND TIM SALE.

This is a pretty cheap way to read these original stories... the new covers are just a bonus.
