Whis hotel is usually the best to stay at for Baltimore? Going for the first time this year..

It really depends on your budget and if you want to stay in the immediate area.  Last year I stayed a bit south at a great place for $90 a night with free parking and a breakfast but it was a 15 minute drive to and from.  I've stayed at the Hyatt and the Sheraton and they are nice with a walkway to and from the convention which is nice if it rains.  Orbitz has both of those in the $200 a night range but remember it doesn't include parking which is expensive in the area so you will probably add $40 a night to park.  I have not had much issues with walking around in a small group at night but some have reported it being sketchy as you get away from the immediate area surrounding the convention center so keep that in mind when you see cheap parking 4 or 5 blocks away.

Yeah ive heard the same. Im def wanting to stay within the intermediate area. Just didnt know if they did a "sponsered hotel" like Heroes does with the westin.

The website says they will release info about preferred hotels a couple months before the Con but I don't remember ever seeing a discount being offered through the event.
