Anyone tried a “lide” scanner for slabs? 1 1

There was a topic on this but it was old and locked. I’m looking at scanners to get good pics of my slabs and this “lide” tech is new. Uses led somehow. Thanks!

It's a Canon marketing tool, from what I can tell.  The light source and image capture sensor are common to most inexpensive scanners.  It looks to have a couple of advantages over prior Canon scanners, a slightly faster scan speed and the lack of requirement for a separate power supply, so long as the scanner is linked by USB cable to a computer.

I have been trying to find a new ccd scanner that will scan slabs (legal sized) for under 200$. No go!  Anyone have a suggestion?

Buy a used one on ebay. Thats what I did.
