Journey into Mystery #62 in GD-  $150

1st appearance of the character who would later be known as Xemnu the Titan. Also known as a Hulk prototype.

There’s been derision of “prototype” books as keys in recent years, but while I cannot say they are by any means undervalued, they are definitely underappreciated by those who deride them. Books like this and TOS 6, Challengers 3, Two-Gun Kid 60, etc etc are a great peek into the evolution of Marvel. It’s like seeing a now-famous band back when they were nobodies playing bars and doing covers.

Blue Beetle #1 Modern Comics edition (1970’s reprint of the 1967 #1, which includes the first appearance of The Question.) very pretty low end of NM range copy. Graded 9.2’s are asking $160-$175 plus shipping on eBay.
