Growing up I HATED History class in school...I really thought it was the least important subject and class to go to in junior high school and high school. BUT....as I grew up into an adult now (I'm considered that merely because of my age..LOL) I can't get enough of HISTORY!!!  I truly watch at times 7-8 hours consecutively of THE HISTORY CHANNEL on TV and certain subjects.... I'm absolutely FASCINATED by the REVOLUTIONARY WAR..... THE WAR of 1812.....& WORLD WAR 2..... (I still cant fathom why a high end movie guy like Spielberg or Ron Howard has not done an in depth high end movie on the Revolutionary War..... like we've done for world war 2 and many other wars.... (The history channel has an 8 hour mini-series on the revolutionary war and what George Washington and the continental army went through... I re-watch it every few years...... Its so so good!!!) The revolutionary war was the equivalent of a high school football team defeating The Kansas city Chiefs in a football game! that's how mismatched we were! Did you know that in 1814....The British have taken over DC and right after Dolley Madison saves Washington's portrait and the declaration Of Independence just before the British arrive.... The British have taken over EVERYTHING IN DC...... and start to burn it all to the ground.... including THE WHITE HOUSE...........Yet a miracle happens...... A freak storm comes RIGHT THEN..... and tornadoes hit the city and put out the flames and destroy most of the British ships and cannons and they end up leaving the city ...so a FREAK DC TORNADO literally saved our country at that time!!!
