Bloodstone by Karl Edward Wagner Warner Books 78-711    1st edition, 1st Printing  March 1975   $65  SOLD to Goldust40

An inspiring Frazetta Kane cover.  Blazing copy, my keeper for a couple of years. The first I've been able to offer of the 1st printing since it took me forever to just barely upgrade this.

Super tough black cover. Tiny tear to upper left, finger bend to back lower left, perfect spine.

The Lost Continent by Edgar Rice Burroughs.  Ace F-235    1st Edition thus    February 1963   $35

Killer copy. Cover and interiors by Frank Frazetta. A beautiful composition.

Blazing white. Square, bright and glossy. Near perfect spine, razor corners. Virtually no wear other than a hint of surface rubbing.  Amazing for a 61 year old book.

War With The Newts  by Karel Kapek   Bantam A1292    1st PB Edition, 1st Printing   January 1955   $15

Translated from the Czech. One of the great classic science fiction novels in any language. Satirical, philosophical, and so truthful about human nature. Must be read by everyone.

Perfect bargain/reader copy, looks high grade, has some light staining to the page edges.

Windward Passage by Hamilton Cochran    Ace D-251   1957       $35

The White Mountain Copy with acquisition date handwritten in pen on first page.

The headlights 'n' pirates cover art is uncredited but surely by Lou Marchetti

Wet colors highlight the near perfect spine and covers. Specks are excess ink from the printing. A stunner for sure.

I'm happy to see an A** man branch out a little :D

Love the nylon detail at the heel (and the neat take on the open leg composition).

The Girl From Las Vegas by J.M. Flynn / To Have and To Kill by Robert Martin    Ace F-111   PBO 1960    $15  SOLD to Goldust40

Real nice art on both sides, the Vegas Girl with the gun gets me going - an undiscovered GGA treasure that one is, credited to Verne Tossey on pulpcovers (thumbsu

Looks unread with light wear, tiny stain to corner, edgewear.  The pages are heavily toned (not flaking) so I'm marking this down from what I think it should be. Still "looks great in a mylar"
