Obvious difference in size between TMNT #3 & #4 (1st print) - Trimming? 1 1

Hi,

Was re-boarding and re-bagging my TMNT #3 and #4 and noticed obvious difference in size between the 2.

TMNT #4 is much taller than #3 whereas #3 is slightly wider. At first I thought trimming, but this doesn't seem to be the case.

Any insight appreciated. Some pics to illustrate what I am talking about.

Apparently it depends on the issue date, if it is a later reprint copy, etc., the indicia should tell you what you have.

For what it's worth, i have first printings of each, purchased by me and in my possession ever since, so definitely not trimmed.  My #4 is taller than #3 by about the same margin as yours, but they are both the same width.
