:takeit: in thread rules. Returnable in 14 days for any reason. US shipping $10 raw, $20 slabbed (Free for over $1000)  At cost elsewhere. 

 No HOSers or probies.  Paypal, zelle, venmo, check or M.O.

Unfortunately I must collect sales tax from buyers in California. I will invoice when I have zip code. I will discount tax against shipping costs.    No sales tax on sales outside California.

 

This will likely be last sale on the boards of Golden Age and pulps. I'm doing some extended traveling in September for a year, and everything I haven't sold will go to consignment, auction, or maybe a few items into storage.

These are my best prices on individual items, though I may consider further discounts on bundled deals. When they go to consignment they will be more expensive.

Apparent G/VG cream-ow pages

Some sort of glue sticking front and back of cover at spine to first/last page. Appears to have caused some wrinkling of cover where applied

Strong color.

Apparent FR ow

Slight trim (looks about 1/8") on three sides, piece glued back on top right corner, archival tape on spine inside and out with cover reattached - spine would be split with pieces missing without it. Three minor punch holes on left side of book. Removed from bound volume. 

Complete.

This is interesting to me.

So, this book has a publication date of 11/30/39, which means it was likely out on the newsstands a couple months earlier, circa 9/1/39, the first official day of WWII.

I find this interesting because the cover image appears to depict WWI action, if I'm not mistaken. The irony of this issue coming out on the stands the month the SECOND "Great War" started is quite interesting to me. 

Somebody pick this up, pretty please. I really shouldn't be buying books right now.

Incredible book.
