MARVEL MYSTERY COMICS #37

APPARENT 6.0 ow

Moderate resto - a fair amount of spine repair visible on back cover with piece replacement and art recreation (at top of coupon) 

Cleaned and pressed (sorry, I don't know cleaning method) 

I don't see any work on front cover other than some small tear seals at staples, and eye-appeal is gorgeous.

Published by O Globo, these war era Golden age reprinting U.S comics (in B/W) often had original covers that rivaled the better U.S. GA covers of the era. 

Fat GA sized book - 100 pages inc. covers with Ray, Comet, Steel Sterling and Wizard (among others) translated into Portuguese.

Cool ad for sister title Gibi Mensal featuring The Human Torch on back ( this art was not used for a cover). 

If you are wondering, mensal means "monthly" in Portuguese. Both Gibi and O Globo Juvenil had weekly tabloid editions as well.

Staples removed ( rust stains remain) Spine of cover reinforced and glued to spine of interior. It looks like all the pages have been attached with glue (though the glue itself is not visible)

Solid eye-appeal. Reprints Red Skull story from All-Select #2 using splash for cover, but skull is colored white on cover. (int. cap story is in B/W)

ROCKY JORDEN lot!

All his appearances, including Young Men 9-11. Atlas' wise cracking private eye, stories are filled with 1950s hipster slang. He falls hard for the beautiful woman in every case (usually to his detriment) and frequently resolves the case by putting a bullet in the bad guy, something for which he never gets any heat for, despite his sometimes adversarial relationship with the cops.
