Gentlemen Prefer Blondes by Anita Loos       Popular Library 221   1st PB edition  1950      $45

A very pretty copy of one of the most famous Earl Bergey GGA covers. Just a purty vintage pb :)

Solid and tight. Great colors. Spine has some light stress lines, binding is tight, pages tanning but supple. Covers are smooth without major creases, a few bends and edge wear.

River Girl by Charles Williams      Gold Medal Giant G207   PBO  1st printing  1951   $45    SOLD to Darwination

A great read and classic GGA cover by Barye Phillips.  Incredibly tough Giant edition in any grade. The third in Charles Williams' "Girl" series for Gold Medal

Solid and tight with super glossy lamination. One section of pages is uneven but all tight in the binding. No bad creases, just a little edgewear and a few tiny bits of lam missing. These fat GM giants are usually found in pieces and this one found rarely at all in the first printing.

The Corpse Next Door by John Farris   Graphic Mystery 138   PBO 1956      $20  SOLD to Goldust40

Great Oliver Brabbins cover art on this under-appreciated vintage pb line. I've tried picking more up lately but they're getting tougher to find.

Nice square copy with great gloss and minimal wear. I'd call it "barely read" Has a date in script inside front cover.

Great take. I wish they made more orange covers! So striking!

Kalin is underrated - his use of different colors in backgrounds and sense of design is awesome.

EDIT - the blurb in context is one of the best ever, too, "How could he leave that big, beautiful Texas bombshell behind" :golfclap:

Summer Artist by Jayne Judson   Unique Books UB109    PBO  1966   $75

Unread sleaze/beatnik classic with the awesome Bill Ward cover. I love his covers on the 60's sleaze novels. Low print runs on these.

Square and glossy with great color - pages tanning as usual but nothing else to speak of. A great copy, equal to my keeper, I couldn't choose between them.

Dormitory Doll by Norm Kent  Playtime No. 638  PBO  1963    $25

GGA call girl cover.  Crime/sleaze novel with Lesbian interest. Probably a Bonfils cover but not credited anywhere. Subject matter is pretty hot these days.

Square, glossy copy. Has light non color breaking creases on cover but a nice fresh copy overall.

Hard Boiled by Harmon Bellamy Venus Books 110       $100

Classic GGA lingerie vintage sleaze digest. One of the most famous Venus Digests with cover art uncredited but likely by Howell Dodd.

Solid spine, staples tight, pages supple. Light spine and surface wear. Clean staples show only slight oxidation, no rust. Some faint creasing. Light soiling to back cover. Over all an attractive copy of one of the most sought after GGA digest covers.

Time Trap by Rog Phillips   Century Book No. 116  PBO   1949   $30

Small paperback size (Century alternated with Digests)

Incredible Malcolm Smith cover art of a three eyed Good Girl with ray gun - much rarer than the other couple of Century science fiction titles

A pretty decent collectible copy. Spine slant, some creasing, pages tanning, still tight.  I've never seen a VF copy, this was my keeper until recently.
