A great JD/sleaze book with classic cat fight cover.

Great copy, classic San Julian front cover and Enrich back cover.

Square, tight and glossy. Front is super clean. Light wear at back spine edge, pages and inner cover lightly tanning but not bad. A very clean copy overall.

Red Harvest by Dashiell Hammett    Pocket Books 241  1st Printing  October 1943    $35  SOLD to Goldust40

I believe the first Pocket Books Hammett pb.   Noir thriller with an Art Deco cover by Hoffman. 

Scarce WWII era book in the 1st printing in nice condition. 

One of the best I've seen. Solid spine, tight binding, pages tight and supple. The thick covers are super smooth and only have a light finger bend in the lower right corner. Light page toning, only a trace of edgewear.

1st paperback collection of these stories in this form.  Classic Frazetta cover. Contains "The People Of The Black Circle", "The Slithering Shadow", "The Pool of the Black One" and the first publication of "Drums of Tombalku".  "A Lancer Book 1967" on copyright page.  

Glossy and tight. Excellent color and gloss. Very little wear.  Much lighter than usual toning to the covers that Lancers are notorious for.
