Jule: Alabama Boy In Harlem  by George Wylie Henderson   Avon 400   1st numbering of this title 1952     $20

Classic round circle Avon title with great GGA . Back cover art is a re-use from the earlier Avon, "N-word Heaven"

Pretty nice. Solid and tight, full lamination. Has a few mild bends, bits of edgewear, some curl to the cover, tanning pages.

Torture Garden by Octave Mirbeau   Berkley No. 111   1955   $35  SOLD to Goldust40

First paperback edition, Dali-esque surreal cover art of the Eve's and the apple

Much nicer than my last one. Solid and tight, slight lean. Mostly smooth with mild creasing and edgewear.

Hard boiled noir novel.  Bill Randall GGA cover art, an early classic cover from the Avon spin-off company

Bright and tight, has slight lean, crease on back but not much other wear. Has light erasure to pencil on cover.

Trailer Camp Woman by Doug Duperrault     Beacon Books B317  PBO 1960   $60

One of the best of the "Trailer Park" GGA genre. A tough book in this condition.

Unread, glossy and like new. No creases, a whiff of edgewear to the back cover. Has a few very light roller and color lines from printing. Great off white pages.

Kiss My Fist by James Hadley Chase       Eton Books E112   Second Printing  May 1952     $50

Violent hardboiled GGA cover is uncredited to date but definitely in the Avon style paced by Raymond Johnson in the early 1950's. 

Solid square spine, great color and gloss. Light edgewear, mostly to spine, a few tiny creases. Tiny dot on bottom cover. Pages are creamy and supple. Minimal toning. A pretty nice copy of a tough vintage paperback.

1st appearance of Frazetta's "Dark Kingdom"  Kane. The most expensive Frazetta painting sold.  Found another pretty nice one so here it is.

Square and glossy, has some light spine wear, edge and surface wear. Great pages. The Science Fiction Book Club advertising card is present and solid in the binding.
